Rollip ("Rollip", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the Rollip mobile application ("the App"). We aim to keep everything simple, transparent, and respectful of your privacy.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Rollip does not:

  • Collect personal information
  • Create user accounts
  • Store names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact details
  • Track you across apps or websites
  • Use third-party analytics or marketing trackers
  • Sell, rent, or share your data with third parties

Rollip is designed so you can enjoy AI photo editing without giving up your privacy.

2. Photos You Upload

To apply AI effects, you may choose to upload a photo.

How we handle photos:

  • Uploaded photos and generated outputs are stored on our servers for up to 7 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
  • Photos are used only to generate the effect you requested.
  • We do not use your photos to train AI models.
  • You remain the full owner of all content you upload.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload any photo you use.

3. In-App Purchases

Rollip offers optional in-app purchases for credits.

When you make a purchase:

  • Apple processes and secures all payment information through the App Store.
  • We do not receive your credit card number, billing address, name, or any payment details.
  • Apple may provide us with anonymized purchase confirmations (e.g., receipts or transaction status) necessary to deliver your credits.

This is standard for all iOS apps using Apple's in-app purchase system.

4. Device Information

To ensure the App functions properly, we may receive limited, non-personal technical information such as:

  • Device model
  • Operating system version
  • Basic performance data (e.g., crash logs, internal errors)

This information:

  • Is not linked to your identity
  • Is used solely to maintain and improve app functionality
  • May be provided automatically by Apple as part of standard app operation (e.g., anonymized crash reports if you have opted in at the OS level)

We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

5. No Tracking

Rollip does not use:

  • Third-party tracking SDKs
  • Cross-app tracking technologies

The App does not track you in any way.

6. Children's Privacy

Rollip is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.

By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.

Content Restrictions

Users agree not to upload:

  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive images
  • Images that infringe on the privacy, publicity rights, or intellectual property rights of others
  • Images of individuals without their permission (especially minors)

Uploading prohibited or illegal content is strictly forbidden.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services to function, including:

  • Apple's in-app purchase system
  • Cloud processing providers used to generate AI effects (processing only; no personal identity data is sent)

These providers receive only the minimal information required to operate the service securely.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encrypted transfer of photos
  • Secure servers
  • Automatic deletion of uploaded images
  • Strong access controls

9. AI-Generated Content, Preset Effects, and Intellectual Property

Rollip provides certain preset effects that include example prompts designed to produce generic, non-branded, non-specific visual results. Rollip intentionally avoids prompting or encouraging the generation of trademarked logos, branded products, or proprietary designs.

All images generated by the App—whether based on preset prompts or user-provided prompts—are created automatically by third-party AI models and processing providers ("AI Providers"), such as the Nano Banana model.

Rollip itself does not draw, design, select, or manually craft any part of the output.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI Providers interpret prompts autonomously
  • Rollip cannot control or predict specific output
  • Generated images may occasionally include incidental shapes, patterns, or designs that resemble real-world trademarks or brands
  • Any such resemblance is unintentional and not endorsed by Rollip

Rollip disclaims all responsibility for incidental generation of brand-like elements.

10. Responsibility of Third-Party AI Providers

The AI Providers (including the Nano Banana model):

  • Control the generation process
  • Determine how prompts—whether created by Rollip or by users—are interpreted
  • May generate visual elements that unintentionally resemble real-world trademarks, logos, or product designs

These outcomes result solely from the behavior of the AI models and are not within Rollip's control.

To the extent permitted by law, any liability for such outputs rests with the AI Providers and/or the user, but not with Rollip.

11. User Responsibility for Custom Prompts, Uploaded Content, and Output Use

The App allows users to upload photos and enter custom prompts.

By using the App, you agree:

  • You are solely responsible for the content of your custom prompts
  • You will not request or attempt to generate:
    • Trademarked or branded products
    • Logos, emblems, or protected designs
    • Content that infringes intellectual property rights
    • Content that implies endorsement by any brand or rights holder
  • You will not use any generated content in a manner that violates any trademark, copyright, or publicity rights

Rollip does not review or pre-screen custom prompts and is unable to detect trademarked or proprietary content requested by users.

You assume full responsibility for any legal or regulatory consequences arising from your prompts or use of generated images.

12. No Endorsement or Affiliation

All trademarks, logos, and proprietary designs that may appear incidentally in AI-generated images are the property of their respective owners.

Their appearance:

  • Is unintentional
  • Is not created, selected, or endorsed by Rollip
  • Does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement
  • Occurs solely due to automated processing by the AI Providers

Rollip does not authorize the use of generated images in a way that suggests endorsement by any brand.

13. Disclaimer of Guarantees for AI Output

Rollip attempts to guide the AI Providers toward neutral, non-branded output through its preset prompts.

However, Rollip does not guarantee that:

  • AI-generated content will be free of brand-like or trademark-like elements
  • Generated content will not resemble real-world products, logos, or designs
  • Custom prompts will produce compliant or non-infringing content

All AI-generated content is provided "as is," without any warranty of non-infringement.

By using the App, you accept that AI output may occasionally include unintended elements resembling real-world proprietary designs.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the App means you accept the updated terms.
